Alzheimer's & Dementia Care in Philadelphia & the Surrounding Counties

Compassionate, patient support built around safety, routine, and dignity — helping your loved one remain in the comfort of home for as long as it's safely possible.

Supporting Families Through Alzheimer's & Dementia

A dementia diagnosis changes daily life for the whole family. KRP Legacy Homecare provides non-medical in-home support designed around the unique needs of clients living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia — consistent routines, patient communication, and a calm, familiar presence that helps reduce confusion and anxiety.

Our approach centers on meeting clients where they are: respecting their reality, minimizing unnecessary changes, and focusing on comfort, safety, and connection rather than correction.

What Our Dementia Care Includes

  • Consistent daily routines that support orientation and reduce anxiety
  • Patient, calm communication tailored to the client's stage of memory loss
  • Safety supervision to reduce fall risk and wandering
  • Assistance with bathing, dressing, and hygiene, delivered with dignity
  • Meaningful engagement through familiar activities, music, or conversation
  • Meal preparation and encouragement with nutrition and hydration
  • Clear communication with family about changes or concerns

Choosing the Right Level of Care

Dementia care needs often change over time. Early on, companion care paired with safety supervision may be enough. As needs increase, personal care assistance adds hands-on support, and 24-Hour Care becomes appropriate when continuous supervision is needed for safety. We're happy to talk through where your loved one is now and what to expect as things progress.

Alzheimer's & Dementia Care Pricing

Dementia care is billed at our standard Companion Care ($30/hr) or Personal Care Assistance ($32/hr) rates depending on the level of hands-on support needed, with a 4-hour minimum per visit. Use our pricing page and cost estimator for a personalized estimate.
